NABET – National Accreditation Board for Education and Training

National Accreditation Board for Education and Training is part of the quality council of India, over the years NABET has increased the scope of its services. However, the focus has always been on improving the process and not the person responsible for the process. It is more inclined towards the process as compared to the person-driven process. Similarly, the accreditation standard for quality school governance was developed to bring about quality development from the roots i.e. is namely our educational system.
Schools are the building blocks of knowledge. It provides several opportunities to children to not only gain knowledge in various fields of science, maths, history, etc. but also develops a holistic approach for students in terms of developing mind, body, and character. There are various educational organizations that look out for compliance and accreditation bodies that help them to transform themselves. NABET certification board not only commits to providing fair and equal opportunity to all the applicants but also an impartial, transparent and confidential environment which is essential for all levels of the organization.
This Accreditation standard for quality school governance has been divided into three sections which together deliver Quality Education. These sections are as follows a) school governance, b) education & support process, c) performances, measurement & improvement. The standard was developed with an objective to provide educational services that aim to enhance the satisfaction level of all interested parties, provide a basis for assessing and where required, rating the effectiveness of a management system, and finally develop quality consciousness among interested parties.
